Store leather on a padded hanger (never wire hangers) in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Never store in plastic bags or sealed containers – leather needs to breathe. Use a breathable cotton garment bag if you need to cover it. Before long-term storage, clean and condition the leather. Check on stored leather every few months to ensure no issues are developing. Proper storage can keep leather in excellent condition for decades.
